Firstly I would like to say thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website.

Secondly I would like to tell you a little bit more about me.

 

My name is Paula, I am a photographer based in Brentwood, Essex.

For the majority of my adult life I have worked in offices in London with photography as a hobby in my spare time. I decided to take my hobby further and participate in courses around my day job, based in Shoreditch with professional photographers from all sectors of the industry. The more I learnt about photography the more my passion grew.

As I reached my 30's I decided that life is too short to spend every day doing a job you have no passion for just to pay the bills so I decided to take a leap of faith and change careers.... pretty risky at my age some may say but if there is one thing I have learnt its you are never to old to follow your dreams.

I started working for a photography company specialising in portraits for schools and performing arts portfolios whilst working on my own photography business and suddenly I felt like I didn't have to work to live ... I now live to work and love every day. 

​

People ask me what it is about photography that I like so much and my answer is simple. I love the fact I can capture precious moments in someones life that can be treasured by all and passed on down generations of relatives. I used to look back at pictures of my grandparents in their teens and take great pleasure in being able to share them memories with them. No one realises the importance of photos and memories until they are all you have left.

Meeting lovely family's and celebrating the special occasions and the new additions to the world with them is an incredible experience and one I hope to share with many more.
